Background

Tammy Welch began her career in franchise finance with MetLife Capital, a company who was later acquired by GE Capital as an entry to the franchise industry. During her twelve years at GE Capital, Tammy was a key contributor to the $15 billion portfolio of franchise assets. After leaving GE Capital, Tammy was a key member of the team that took City National Banks’s regional franchise portfolio to a national platform, expanding franchise concepts and adding to clients to achieve a $2 billion portfolio. During her time at a franchise boutique investment banking firm she expanded her skills to include M&A advisory, valuation and restructures for franchise clients.

Career Highlights

  • 30-year career in the Franchise Finance Industry, both in lending and investment banking.

  • Key contributor building the $15B GE Capital Franchise Portfolio; worked with top tier brands to build and grow the core business.

  • Member of founding team responsible for creating a national footprint for the City National Bank Franchise Group, resulting in a $2B portfolio and 75 franchise clients.

  • Senior Vice President for franchise industry investment banking firm, originating in excess of $1B in M&A transactions and Debt Placements.

Personal Interests

  • Spending time with family, especially my husband and two children.
